Dr. Bryon Evans

Dr. Bryon K. Evans obtained his Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Masters of Science degree in biology from North Carolina Central University, summa cum laude, and Medical Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

 

Dr. Evans completed his training in adult psychiatry at New York University Medical Center in New York; his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and his forensic psychiatry fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Evans is triple board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

 

Dr. Evans is the Medical Director of Lakeview Behavioral Systems in Norcross, GA, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Morehouse School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences where he serves as the Course Director. He is a consulting psychiatrist and treating clinician for the National Football League (NFL) and Atlanta Braves, a staff psychiatrist at Ridgeview Institute and Riverwoods Hospital, and consults to multiple Atlanta area hospitals. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the Academy of Psychiatry and the Law.
